I Love NY Official Travel App App Reviews

Thought it great from the first impression but the app did not work at all. Also every link was useless..hoping to book a holiday but got so frustrated looked elsewhere....

I had no idea there were so many farmers markets near me. Even being a native New Yorker Ive also discovered a lot of things to do using this well designed app. Much prettier than other NY apps and much less confusing as well. Provided me with all the information I needed in a streamline fashion.

What is the point of this app? This version of the app does not do anything. I wish I never updated it!

I dont want a coming soon update. If youre going to redesign an app, at least keep the old format in place until the launch. Other app developers manage to do that. In its current format, this app has no content value at all. It has no content. If youre thinking about downloading this app, dont. Wait until you see reviews indicating it has actual content. Btw, the original app... had a lot of USEFUL information. I discovered places near me I hadnt previously known about.

Dont bother to download, who is doing this app? Hope our tax dollar is not on this, completely useless

I cant believe NYS paid for a commercial on TV for this. There is nothing in this app.

I want to know how much of our taxes are being spent on commercials that direct you to an app that is still not complete. These commercials have been running for months yet the app is still not up and running. How much did it cost you to hire Robert De Niro to narrate this commercial?! WHEN IS THIS APP GOING TO BE UP AND RUNNING?

Worse than a bad, outdated commercial.

This app literally does nothing. After the first screen, I get a white screen- nothing more. Very disappointing. Glad my taxes have gone to not only "developing" but also to advertising this junk app that doesnt work.

Pretty useful and easy to use. Some apps go too far and fumble on its purpose. This great little app is exactly what you need in a travel companion app for ny state. I might be a little more adventurous this winter looking for new places to board.

This app has been incredibly helpful on my most recent visit to NY. The app showed me many events and attractions that I never knew were available, and allowed me to broaden my horizons and try new things while in NY. The interface is very user friendly and I had no problem navigating all of many options contained in the app. I also thought the feature of finding attractions based on ones current location was especially helpful.

This is a great app! Its really intuitive and easy to use. Im not from NY but i often visit and this app is awesome in trying to figure out things to do. I really like the adventures suggestions. One of the most useful features is the ability to search for food places (and hotels) near whatever activity your doing. Makes planning your trip really easy and convenient. Im definitely recommending this to all my friends planning on visiting NY

Would love to see review ratings within the suggested attractions, restaurants, etc.

Love what it brings to the table. BIG issues are that it will ALWAYS track your location. ALWAYS. Even when not using the app. Thats a NoNo. Then you try to disallow the app from using location it crashes your settings. I deleted the app. Hopefully theyll fix that then Ill install it again.

The app crashes my phone when trying to save the location settings. I will delete the app.
